Let's get to know Each other

My name is Erin Connelly

I'm a natural light photographer who specializes in dogs and horses. I reside in Central Pennsylvania with my husband, two kids, three dogs and one horse. The inspiration for my brand comes from our horses Worthy (a dapple grey) and Boots (a bay). Sadly,  Boots passed away in 2023 but her legacy will live on through my creative work. My goal is to create portraits that show the true personality and love between my clients and their animals.

Loving horses, dogs and photography is who I am and what sets my soul on fire. I’ve tried to pursue other interests and other career avenues but I always come back to horses, dogs and my creative outlet as a photographer. I have no idea when my love for horses and dogs began. I was absolutely just born this way. Of course, caring for such animals can be heartbreaking, expensive and at times frustrating but they are also my greatest joy. I am  thankful for each day that I have to care for and provide the life they deserve.

My passion for photography started in high school as I worked tirelessly and not always successfully in the dark room, rolling my own film and developing my images. With the onset of digital photography, I continued improving my skills into adulthood until I decided it was time to merge my two passions into a career. This did not feel like the safe, logical or easy choice, but I knew it was my calling.

I bring my love for animals and commitment to my craft to every session. For each client I meet, I strive to create a visual story with images they will cherish for a lifetime.

"Erin found a beautiful outdoor setting for our shoot and created imaginative opportunities for active shots that just showed Tonka’s personality. Everyone I show the pictures is in awe."
